How to use

The Interesting Walks web app helps you make the most of your walk by following your location on the route, and providing additional information as you go.

The routes are designed to be used on your mobile phone, but are accessible on anything with a web browser.

Each walk has an information page giving you a summary of the walk and what the app offers on the way.

Once you have loaded a walk on your phone through the web site it should be stored for use even if your mobile internet access disappears, but you can ensure that it remains accessible by saving a walk to your phone.

On an iPhone:

• Find the information page for the walk you want to save

• Tap on Let's Go to load the walk

• Once the walk has loaded tap on the Share icon

• Tap on the grey Add to Home Screen icon

• Tap on Add in the top right hand corner

On an Android phone:

• Find the information page for the walk you want to save

• Tap on Let's Go to load the walk

• Tap on the Add to Home Screen dialog box or the Save Walk icon, then tap on Add.

You should now have an icon on your home screen from which you can access the walk regardless of whether or not you have internet access.
